Using the Search Bar

The Search Bar provides the simplest and the most convenient way to search for deleted files and folders.

The Search Bar is disabled until you select an item in the Local Logical Drive list that allows searching.

For a simple search in the drive or the folder shown in the Search Bar, enter your search criteria in the Look for: text field.

ARAX Disk Doctor remembers the criteria from previous searches and keeps a history of them in a drop-down list in this field. Select the search criteria from this drop-down list.

The Search Context: filed allows the selection of another search scope.

Click Search! in the Search Bar or press ENTER to start the search.
After a search is complete, you can review the search results in the Search Results View.
