Selecting the Logical Drive to Scan
Select the Logical Drive that might contain the deleted data you need to recover.
The Logical Drive Scan process is an essential way of analyzing the surface of the drive. It collects directory structure information for further browsing and recovering. |
 |
Selecting the Scan Type
Choose the method for scanning the drive and then start the scan.
- Use Simple Drive Scan - This is the default method. Try this first to minimize recovery time.
- Use Advanced Drive Scan - If no deleted files and folders were detected using a Simple Drive Scan, try this option. An Advanced Drive Scan is more thorough in examining the disk's surface.

A Disk Image is a single file or a series of files that stores all the data from your logical drive or physical device as a mirror image. Having a Disk Image can be useful when you want to back up the contents of the whole drive, and restore it or work with it later.
