Restoring Deleted Partitions

Damaged partitions can be restored after scanning a data storage device. If you suspect that a partition may be damaged, you can use the Partition Restore Wizard to select and scan data storage devices and restore damaged partitions, all within the same wizard.

If after performing a data storage device scan, you may recognize that there are damaged partitions in the Recovery Explorer tree. In this case, right-click the damaged partition and click Restore Partition from the context menu. This will start the Restore Partition Wizard without the scanning part of the process.

Important

Use this feature with extreme caution! All changes made when restoring a partition are final and cannot be undone.
