Logical Disks

Logical Disks represent partitioned space on your data storage devices (such as hard disk drives, flash cards, zip drives and others). Each Logical Disk is named with a capital letter and colon (A:, B:, C:, etc.).

ARAX Disk Doctor shows a list of Logical Drives under the Local Logical Drives folder in Recovery Explorer. You can perform a number of tasks on the items in the list:

  • Scan the drives for deleted files and folders
  • Create a Disk Image
  • View properties
  • ...and more

Assembled Virtual Arrays (RAID systems) are also shown as Logical Drives.

When you opened a Disk Image of a Logical Drive, it appears in the Local Logical Drives list.
