Data Storage DevicesData Storage Devices is a term used to describe all the places on your computer where you can store data. For example, hard disk drives, floppy drives, RAID drive systems, flash cards, etc. In Recovery Explorer, ARAX Disk Doctor displays a list of Data Storage Devices as branches under a folder named Local Data Storage Devices. If the Local Data Storage Devices folder is collapsed, click the plus sign (+) to expand the folder. The devices in this list can be scanned for deleted partitions. The results of such a scan can be saved for later use. Each device may contain partitioned spaces. If you select one in the list, known information about that device appears in the panel to the right. You can also click the plus sign (+) to expand each device in the tree display. You can perform a device scan on a partition in this list. ARAX Disk Doctor also allows you to copy these partitions (clone them) for modification without affecting the real partition as a part of a recovery technique.
